These pages contain the studies I have done on the Iron Book. The book covers many of the histories of Dunateen and the Hidden Cities. As the title sugests, the book is actually bound in an iron casing, which has contributed to its longevity. Any unmarked citings come from the Iron Book, though I will cite numerous other references, both contemparary and antique.

The construction of Dunateen occured in three phases, as gathered from various sources, including Middle Lands by Coreen Milar and The Ends of the Shadowed Days by Karil Dob, both found only in fragments. The first stage ended when constroction of the Rock was completed, around 424 Days of Shadows(Dos). The second stage, which included buildings leading to the outer court was completed in 427. The outer court, as the third stage, was finished in 429, followed shortly after by a dedication ceremony. It was another fifteen years or so before all of inner city was fleshed out, but there was no important construction projects in the years following 429.
